Vaughanology (was going to be called Vaughanography, but that was vetoed early on) is a place for the Vaughans to chat. Don't understand what happens here? That's because we speak a special language that only Vaughans understand.

To buy or not to buy?

Our department has FINALLY produced some new hoodies with our department logo on the front, and the option to have one of two slogans (or none at all) on the back. After the embarrassment of the hoodies that were available in our first year (they had the sequence of evolution with a stooping monkey/ape/thing evolving to a human and then stooping down again to sit at a computer), these look a lot better (they're not bright red for one thing!) but, as with many university department hoodies, the IT-based slogan is slightly suggestive...

Hm. Shall I just buy one with no slogan on the back?

The episodes follow a set

The episodes follow a set pattern. After introducing the prospective buyers and their idea of an ideal home, including location, features and price range, each of the two presenters selects a property they feel fits that ideal. A third property, the so-called 'wild card',nioxin may not fully fit this wish list, but is believed to be adequate by the presenters.
The prospective buyers are then given the opportunity to inspect each property, discussing its flaws and merits with the presenters before guessing the property's price. They are then allowed to choose one property for an in-depth 'try before you buy' segment, where they can test drive the property more leisurely. saw palmetto The episode concludes with a final conversation with the prospective buyers, asking them whether they are in fact interested in purchasing the property.
Throughout the programme, both presenters engage in mildly disparaging yet good-natured banter, both among themselves and with the contestants. The current presenters, as of 2009, are Kristian Digby (the only original presenter still on the programme), human hair wigs Jenny Powell, Simon O'Brien, Rani Price, Jonny Benarr and Ed Hall. The original presenter teams were Dominic Littlewood with Kristian Digby, who were joined by Sarah Walker at the end of the first series, as 10 hour-long 'specials' were made, with Sarah doing makeover on the contributing couples' house as they househunted with Kristian & Dominic.

Sans logo, methinks. I've seen worse t-shirts (the "Oxford Medics: At your Cervix" was near the bottom) but you don't want Matt to have to whip out his longbow after some male IT geek gets the wrong idea.

That's near the bottom of the "list of worst hoodie slogans", not near any other sort of bottom. Just making sure that's clear.

Good thinking. I'd wear it

Good thinking. I'd wear it more if it didn't have the slogan too. Decision made!
